Marshals make an event happen - get involved.

BE part of the Rally.
Become a Marshal.

Marshals hold many different duties. They can be isolated from other marshals with radio cars spaced out along the length of a stage. They are there for the safety of the competitors predominantly, but most rallies are often spectated and they also may be required to control said spectators that may be posing a safety risk.

Spectators can be a great danger to the drivers, more than on a track event, and if not aware of the cars they may also put themselves in great danger. Marshals announce the imminent arrival of a car by blowing a whistle to alert the spectators to be ready and to clear the track and sidelines. Marshals play one of the most important roles in Motorsport, as without them, it wouldn’t be possible to run an event.

Life as a Marshal.
What will you do?

Thanks to our MArshals

As a club we are increasingly grateful to all the time and effort that is given to your presence in the running of this event. We are aware that in a time of rising costs and difficult times, having spare time is becoming more and more uncommon. Your dedication to the sport we all know and love is invaluable to us as an organisation team.

2023 see’s PTMC appoint a new Chief Marshall, and after many years away from the sport we hope you all welcome Andrew lane back to the stages.
